We are honored to announce that our company has been awarded the construction contract for a unique and meaningful project — the development of an eco-lodge and rescue center for Maasai girls. This initiative is not just a construction job; it’s a powerful investment in community, culture, and the future of young Tanzanian girls.
This project brings together sustainable architecture, community development, and social impact. Located in a rural Maasai area of northern Tanzania, the site will include two main components:
A beautifully designed lodge that offers:
Guest accommodations built with local materials
Solar-powered lighting and hot water
Rainwater harvesting and eco-toilets
Open-air dining, community kitchen, and cultural center
The eco-lodge will provide income-generating opportunities for the local Maasai community through tourism, craft sales, and hospitality training.
A safe haven for young Maasai girls at risk of:
Child marriage
Gender-based violence
Harmful traditional practices
The rescue center will include:
Dormitories and safe sleeping quarters
Classrooms and learning spaces
Counseling rooms
Sanitary facilities and a small clinic
A secure fence and solar lighting system for protection
This project goes beyond bricks and mortar. It’s about building a future of safety, dignity, and opportunity for Maasai girls — many of whom have been denied access to education and basic rights. The center will provide a supportive environment for healing, learning, and empowerment, while the eco-lodge will support the community financially and preserve their cultural identity.
By blending sustainable construction methods with culturally sensitive design, we are helping to create a model that can be replicated in other rural communities across Tanzania.
We are proud to bring our experience in rural and sustainable construction to this project. Our approach includes:
Use of local labor and artisans to support community ownership
Locally sourced materials such as stone, timber, and stabilized soil blocks
Green technologies like solar panels and water recycling
A phased construction plan to ensure safety and budget control
We are also engaging Maasai elders and women in the process, to ensure the design reflects local culture and values.
Being selected for this project is not just a win for our company — it’s a chance to contribute to a cause that aligns with our core values: empowerment, sustainability, and community-first development.
We thank the project sponsors, donors, and community leaders who trusted us with this mission. We’re committed to delivering a facility that stands as a symbol of hope, strength, and transformation.
We’ll be sharing updates, photos, and stories from the site as the construction progresses. Follow us on our website and social media for behind-the-scenes looks at this remarkable journey.
